What the client sees on their job page

Updated 10 September 2026·1 min read

The link you send them, what it shows, and what they can do from it.

Every booking gets its own page, at a link like callout.store/j/mo4x-81pd. The client gets it the moment they book, and it is the same link for the whole job. No login, no password, no app.

What is on it

  • Where the job stands right now: confirmed, on the way, started, running behind, done
  • The time, and if it has moved, the old time crossed through with the new one
  • Your name and photo, so they know who is turning up
  • A button to call you
  • What is owed, and how to pay it, once you have finished

The status is live. If you tap On my way while they are looking at the page, it changes in front of them.

What they can do

  • Cancel, which frees the slot and tells you
  • Ask for a different time, choosing from slots you actually have free
  • Message you, which lands in your inbox against that job

They cannot mark anything as paid. Only you can do that, from your side. See recording a payment.

The address has a short random code in it, and it is the only thing protecting that job's details, so it is worth treating like a key. It is rate limited against anybody trying codes at random.

Send it to the client and nobody else. If you need to show somebody a job, show them your screen rather than forwarding the link.
