Adding someone, and how jobs get shared out

Updated 10 September 2026·2 min read

Everyone gets their own hours, their own leave and their own list of jobs. Clients still just see a time.

On the Grow it plan you can add as many people as you have. An apprentice, a van partner, somebody part time on Saturdays.

Adding somebody

Settings, Your team. Add their name, a colour so you can pick them out on the calendar, and the email address they will sign in with.

That email is the invitation. They go to the app, put it in, get a code, and their seat links itself. There is no token in an email and nothing in a message that grants access, because a forwarded email should never be a way into your business.

What each person has

  • Their own working hours, which need not be yours
  • Their own leave, which they book themselves with no approval step
  • The services they are qualified for, so an apprentice is not offered a job they cannot do

How a booking finds a person

When a client picks a time, they are choosing from the hours of everyone who is qualified and free. Whoever is available gets it, decided in the same instant the booking is made. Two clients racing for the last free slot cannot both get it.

You or an admin can reassign afterwards from the review queue.

What the client sees

A time. Never a person, never a choice of person, never a name until somebody turns up. Who does the work is your business to arrange, not theirs to worry about.

What a team member sees

A smaller app, not a locked one. Their own jobs, their own hours, their own leave. No inbox, no insights, no customer list, no plan screen, and nothing about what the business earns. They cannot see another member's jobs.

Roles: an admin runs the day to day and can change the team. The owner keeps billing, and an admin cannot promote themselves. Switching somebody off removes their access in the same moment.
